Michael F. Rizzo was born in Buffalo, New York. He spent his early years in the suburb of West Seneca, moving to Cheektowaga as a teen. He graduated from JFK High School and went on to Bryant & Stratton, graduating with an Associates degree in Computer Programming, which he never used. He did spend the next 13 years in IT. Always feeling the need to explore, he started Zippy Delivery Bicycle Messengers in 2001 and went on to self employment. After running the company for 7 years he sold it and started a new business.

In the early 1990s he was co-founder, producer, writer and star of COMX-TV, a weekly cable access television show based in Buffalo, NY. The show eventually aired in 6 cities and garnered industry recognition.

Rizzo started The Mob Tours in 2008, after selling Zippy Delivery. The business featured bus tours of former Mafia sites in Niagara Falls, home to 8 million tourists yearly. The business has since evolved into Naked Buffalo Tours, which now includes walking tours in Buffalo, NY.
